You’re off to a great start looking for the newest addition to your family at the Gulf Coast Humane Society. The dogs and cats here are eager to find their new best friend and our team is excited to help you decide which animal is the right fit for you and your lifestyle.
All of our animals are screened for health and temperament, vaccinated, wormed, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. Your adoption includes a 30-day ShelterCare health insurance policy.
Available animals can be viewed online and by stopping by the shelter during business hours. Our staff will guide you through our adoption process, which includes completing an application form, being interviewed in person at the shelter, and reference checks. If you see an animal on our website that you are interested in adopting, you will need to visit the animal at the shelter before submitting the application.
To ensure a smooth transition into the home, it is required to do a dog meet and greet, at the Gulf Coast Humane Society, with any current dogs and or small children that reside in your home.
