Melanie Waite, Spay/Neuter Clinic Manager
Melanie came to Gulf Coast Humane Society in October of 2012 after moving from Albuquerque.
She received a certification in veterinary assisting in 2009 and began her career working for the Humane Society of New Mexico. She found a passion for shelter medicine and learned that spaying and neutering was the best tool in the fight against animal overpopulation.
Melanie is married and lives in Cape Coral with her husband and young son and their two shelter rescue dogs, Nahla and Kayla (aka Marshmallow).
She enjoys anything that involves being outside with her family and recently found a passion for baking.
