Jennifer Galloway, Executive DirectorJennifer Galloway has been leading the Gulf Coast Humane Society since 2012. Her leadership and passion has brought the organization to new levels of caring and finding companion pets their forever homes. She introduced the inception of the Second Chance Pals program and the establishment of the Second Chance Fund for Gulf Coast Humane Society. Her guidance has increased adoptions year after year and capital improvements to the organization has resulted grants and sponsorships through community relations and outreach efforts.
Jennifer grew up in Cleveland, Ohio where she still has family. She learned from incredible role models such as her grandmother who was always taking in stray pets and her father who stressed hard work, loyalty and compassion in all things. Jennifer’s past experience came from the hotel and resort management area where she had responsibilities of general manager, controller and internal auditor. She has served on several boards for the community, including the Board of Directors for Gulf Coast Humane Society prior to becoming the executive director. She has been active with many rescues and within government and community relations including local ordinance changes. Jennifer is married and spends her spare time gardening and enjoying her three dogs and one cat, Zeke, Wil, Acheron and Tammi. |
